Program:  The workshop is designed for those who are new to diecutting and diemaking or have limited experience with it.

The course will cover:

  • Basics of the cutting die
  • The Makeready Process
  • Creasing Matrix, Phenolic Counters & Steel Counters
  • Diecutter Demo
  • Intro to Blanking and Stripping
  • Troubleshooting / Do’s and Don’ts 

Presenters: Anne Barrett, Carton Craft Supply Inc.; Sarah Farley, Ameritek, Inc.; Mark Gocklin, Keystone Folding Box Co.; Edward Riga, Impact Alliance LLC and Rick Ruckh, Serviform America 

Program Audience: Entry level positions in diecutting and diemaking and students with a mechanical background.

Location: Tavo Packaging, 2 Canal Road, Fairless Hills, PA, USA 

Registration Fees: $25 USD IADD Members; $35 USD Non-Members; High school students and students from technical colleges will receive complimentary registration.

Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. (Limit of two registrants per company).
