 "WE'RE GONNA ROCK THIS TOWN ... ROCK IT INSIDE OUT"

  " We're gonna rock till we pop, we're gonna rock till we drop, we're gonna rock this town, rock this place apart." - Stray Cats

Whether you're the lead singer, a member of the back-up band or an adoring groupie, you're going to feel like a grammy-winning superstar at IADD's totally revamped leadership conference. This year's program is new and different, geared to provide you with important leadership principles that can be used both inside and outside the workplace. Your learning experience will be infused with variety and fun, and we've also provided an opportunity for your spouse or guest to participate alongside (or opposite!) you in our teambuilding activities. And we can guarantee you, Elvis will be in the building!

LET'S GET RESULTS, NOT EXCUSES. Tired of hearing endless excuses as to why your employees and others you rely on can't get things done? Today's economy requires that more and more of our workforce perform to peak levels of capability. Technology, growth, rapid change and demographic shifts are placing increasing demands on productivity requirements. Enabling employees to accept higher and greater levels of responsibility is a high-impact strategy that can help to meet many of these challenges. The key, however, is not just to force more responsibility onto our employees. Instead, the formula starts with creating an organization that is aligned with a specific and inspired culture and a defined set of values. After attending this program, you will have:

  • An understanding of the psychology of excuses, why people make them and why people accept them;
  • An understanding of the reason why there is no practical distinction between excuses and legitimate reasons;
  • A process for defining values, standards of behavior and codes of conduct;
  • A method for assessing the three dimensions of culture alignment;
  • A review of nine key processes, with pragmatic suggestions for improving these processes to insure compatibility with culture and values;
  • A four-step, one-on-one personal coaching system designed to eliminate up to 40% of excuses before they are made, thereby significantly increasing levels of responsibility;
  • A five-step process for moving from "past-tense management" to "future-tense management";
  • A weekly "Action Plan" that will enhance retention and application of the material presented.

Our presenter, James M. Bleech, is President of Leadership Development Center, a management consulting practice specializing in the issues of corporate culture and strategic planning. Jim is a Certified Professional Consultant to Management with almost 30 years of experience in private industry. Currently CEO of Parliment Steel Products, Jim has authored three books, spoken to tens of thousands of upper-level executives and helped found the world renowned Nova Oceanographic Center.

TEAMWORK: A NOT-SO IMPOSSIBLE MISSION. This program brings you one of the most innovative and creative teambuilding experiences you've ever participated in. Nance Cheifetz, Corporate Fairy Godmother and experienced trainer from Sense of Delight, is going to lead us on a not-so impossible mission to give us a better appreciation for collaboration, negotiation, strategy and problem solving techniques. You will find outstanding and surprising solutions to today's serious workplace concerns. What you learn from this program will be greatly enhanced if your spouse/guest/friends also attend. We can't tell you too much (or we'd have to kill you), but we can assure you that the value you receive from this program will be clear and memorable.

  SUCH A LOVELY PLACE, PLENTY OF ROOM AT THE HOTEL ...
  Orlando offers a multitude of daytime activities and non-stop nightlife. Taking its cue from the music it celebrates, Hard Rock Hotel embodies the soul and spirit of rock. It's not typical in any way. It has class, yet it's totally casual. It's lively, yet laid back. And because it's located inside Universal Orlando, you can walk or hop aboard the on-site transportation and ride to Universal Studios, Universal's Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk within minutes. Hotel guests enjoy a variety of special theme park benefits, including express ride access at both theme parks. One of the coolest venues at the hotel is the 12,000 square foot pool, where you'll find a sand beach, underwater stereo, interactive fountains, pool slide and more. Bring the kids so they can enjoy Camp Lil' Rock, the supervised children's activity center. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave! (Eagles)

  I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR (U2)
