“PERFECT PARADISE”

Powerful presentations, practical programming, passionate people, all in a Pacific paradise. It’s perfect.

Rich in history and mythology, the Big Island of Hawaii is a land of striking contrasts. A place where fiery volcanoes co-exist with snow-capped peaks and ancient stone altars stand alongside modern luxury resorts. This year’s program is a perfect blend of the professional and personal, planned to provide you with important leadership principles that can be used both inside and outside the workplace. Your learning experience will be infused with variety and fun, and we've also provided an opportunity for your spouse or guest to participate alongside you in our teambuilding activities.

SECRETS OF LEADERSHIP AND TEAM BUILDING: CREATING RESULTS THROUGH PEOPLE.
Just like there are primary colors, there are two key dimensions of leadership that influence the motivation and performance of your employees. In this hands-on and interactive session, you’ll discover how leadership emerges in groups and the four stages of growth and development necessary for creating a high performance team. Whether you lead thousands or manage one other person, you will discover skills and techniques you can use immediately to get the most out of people.

Our presenter, Drake Beil, ED.D, is a Certified Management Consultant with over twenty years of management consulting and organizational development expertise. Based in Hawaii, Drake is adjunct faculty at UH in the College of Business teaching “Leadership” in the Executive MBA program, and in addition to his corporate practice and speaking engagements, he writes a weekly column for Pacific Business News.

CREATING TRANSFORMATION IN YOUR LIFE.
Learn how to rise above impossible odds, achieve your goals and discover a much higher level of fulfillment in both your professional and personal life. This unique program will utilize an inspirational multi-media presentation and stimulating, interactive team building exercises to motivate you to meet your challenges, to rise above your limitations and to create transformation in your life. A fast-paced, fun and energetic team building segment reinforces the value of cooperation, mutual support and acceptance of each individual’s unique strengths and capabilities. You will learn how to:
  • Make an immediate positive impact on your organization;
  • Resolve conflict with difficult people;
  • Transform adversity into winning results;
  • Boost employee productivity, commitment and fulfillment;
  • Create solutions to your most challenging problems;
  • Light a fire under your sales force;
  • Achieve and surpass your goals.
The program will close with the Hawaiian Kukui Nut Celebration, during which you will renew your goals, dreams and life vision. This is an opportunity for self-reflection, followed by sharing with another colleague, friend or spouse. This is a unique, spirited celebration which incorporates Hawaiian mythology and healing with practical solutions to real-life issues. What you learn from this program will be greatly enhanced if your spouse/guest/friends also attend.

Annabel Chotzen speaks with the gentleness of a Hawaiian sunset and the power of ocean waves. She motivates us with her passion and rejuvenates us with her humor. She is a graduate of Harvard University and Bennington College and is Professor of Public Speaking at Hawaii Pacific University.
