Diecutting & Diemaking 101 Workshop
Program: The workshop is designed for those who are new to diecutting and diemaking or have limited experience with it.
The course will cover:
- Basics of the Cutting Die
- The Makeready Process
- CAD Programming
- Creasing Matrix, Phenolic Counters & Steel Counters
- Diecutter Demo
- Intro to Blanking and Stripping
- Troubleshooting / Do’s and Don’ts
Presenters: Anne Barrett, Keystone Folding Box Co.; Sarah Farley, Ameritek, Inc. and Mark Gocklin, Keystone Folding Box Co.
Program Audience: Entry level positions in diecutting and diemaking and students with a mechanical background.
Location: Calitho, 2312 Stanwell Dr, Concord, CA, USA
Registration Fees: $45 USD IADD Members; $55 USD Non-Members; High school students and students from technical colleges will receive complimentary registration.
Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. (Limit of two registrants per company).
