Media Committee


Develop integrated strategies for IADD's use of electronic media to engage prospective & existing members and make communications & services accessible.


  • Implement a communications strategy to create high levels of satisfaction among global users of IADD's electronic media (websites, social media and online community)
  • Post on social media to promote membership and marketing messages, technical content and audio/video products (note: technical and educational content is created by Education and Technical Services)
  • Conduct interviews and create podcasts to be posted monthly
  • Develop ways to moderate and measure the effectiveness of existing social media sites
  • Maintain and evolve IADD's social media policies & guidelines
  • Oversee IADD's websites and makes suggestions as to content, functionality and design
  • Identify additional activities that should be undertaken to ensure global outreach
