My experience in the diemaking industry is steadily growing. I began in 2013, thinking we made fancy cookie cutters for cardboard. After a 6-year hiatus to care for my elderly family, I returned in 2021 and have been absorbing as much as possible. After Customer Service, my main tasks are Production Scheduling and Procurement, but I also provide support to the Order Entry, Marketing, and Accounting Departments.
Between Photography and Gaming, the nerdiness in me finds diemaking to be a fascinating industry. I am constantly shocked by how far these jobs are under the radar - especially to the upcoming generations. My "work dream" is to see this industry explode in popularity and strength - and my goal is to support Millennium Die Group and the IADD in making that happen.
