Program:

In this presentation we will go over sustainability and its relationship to the packaging industry. Sustainability has become an increasingly important topic in recent years as individuals and organizations have become more aware of the impact that human activity has on the environment. In the packaging industry, sustainability refers to the use of materials and methods that minimize negative impacts on the environment while still meeting the needs of businesses and consumers.

Program objectives:

  • Review key terminology and their differences.
  • Discuss PFAS and PFAS compliance. 
  • Explore how to adopt sustainable packaging operations.
  • Evaluate the availability of recycling programs.
