The IADD is changing—to better serve YOUR needs and the needs of other industry members. One of the ways you can influence this change is to thoughtfully nominate the members (including yourself) who will serve as the IADD's leadership in positions as the Officers and Directors of the Board.

President Elect vacancy

The current President Elect term (ending October 29, 2026) has become vacant. The Board appointed Mark Gocklin to this position. However, the IADD Bylaws state that a person who is appointed to serve as President-Elect does NOT automatically assume the position of President. The nomination and election process is still followed. Someone must receive a motion and 10 seconds from the membership at large, appear on an election ballot and win a contested election or by acclamation. This “special” election will be held on a different timeline due to the immediacy of the situation:

1. Members were able to nominate at the October 8, 2026 online Annual Business Meeting, and may continue to do so by mail (which must be received within 10 days, by October 18, 2026).
2. An election ballot for this position will be emailed to voting members on October 19.

Each position may have multiple nominees and these people have been nominated to date:

The "President Elect vacancy" nomination deadline is October 18, 2026.  Submit additional nominations—including yourself!—in writing (with 10 members seconding) to the IADD CEO Jenny Holliday.

2027/28 Officers and Directors
